Footwear and apparel companies are altering their silhouettes accordingly to fit the upcoming fall and winter seasons. More layers and more functionality is slowly replacing vibrant summer-themed colorways and lightweight apparel that reigned supreme for the past few months. NIKE showcases this transition with their latest Air Max model – the NIKE Air Max Lunar90 WR – Obsidian. The “WR” in the title refers to the water-resistant capabilities this shoe possesses. An engineered seam-sealed nylon is utilized for the upper, to ensure dryness amidst even the most torrential downpours. The functionality is coupled with a darker-themed colorway, as a very dark obsidian blue is paired with royal blue and orange accents, creating an undeniably strong makeup. Lastly, the Air Max midsole is updated with NIKE’s Lunarlon-technology, adding responsive cushioning to an already comfortable model.
