This first episode short film focuses on the key influences who, after discovering dancehall, made it their mission to create a bonafide subculture in their home country. Harnessing the spirit and attitude of Jamaican bashment culture, these pioneers worked tirelessly to create a homegrown movement which today not only thrives but is also recognised and respected in Jamaica and around the word.
