OCTOPOD BY MB&F

First off we’d like to commend all arachnophobes that despite their fears dared to start reading this article. The first thing we thought when the image of this ‘OCTOPOD‘ came to us was- “Terminator spiders are taking over the freakin’ world..!!”

Scared at first, but then quickly draw in by the detailed and complex design, we found out we were talking about a dope ass design clock..

Inspired by cephalopods, marine chronometers and The Abyss, the Octopod is the brainchild of radical Swiss designers at MB&F and built by the master craftsmen at L’Epée 1839. It’s an 8-legged 8-day clock that displays hours and minutes inside its spherical transparent glass head. Powered by a hand-winding L’Epée movement, it’s constructed from stainless steel, nickel and palladium plated brass.
