After a successful run last year, Asics has returned once more with a holiday-themed collection in 2014 with the Christmas Pack. Three models comprise the offering, and the first two have officially landed. Following suit of last year, both models reinterpret classic Christmas elements, such as the Gel Lyte III appearing as the “Snowman” and the Gel Saga playing the role of “Santa.” The Gel Lyte III arrives in a more varied colorblocking than last year, as a grey suede saddle is surrounded by icy white leather panels seen at the heel and toe. Tri-toned flat laces add a festive color to the wintery palette. The Gel Saga, inspired by Saint Nick, plays the part well as red suede wraps the main portion of the body, and beige suede is seen at the toe. Small hits of gold further the holiday feel.
