Tipped by a new influencer to the Welhous collective that goes by the name of ‘Alley Rat‘ we got fed some real food for the soul. The act called ‘Nx Worries‘ dropped some singles of recent and they are so sexy and full of funk and soul soul that it made us feel sort of nostalgic so we just had to share it.
The act consist of two artists; first one is Brandon Paak Anderson, better known by his stage name Anderson Paak, which is usually styled as ‘Anderson .Paak‘. Anderson Paak is a talented and skillful musician that firstly appeared on our radar after working a lot with Dr. Dre on the ‘Compton‘ album.
The American singer, rapper, and producer from Oxnard, California released his debut album, ‘O.B.E. Vol.1‘ in 2012 under the name ‘Breezy Lovejoy‘. He then released ‘Venice’ on October 28, 2014 as Anderson .Paak, Which is followed by ‘Malibu‘, recently released in January, 2016.
Secondly, but certainly not least; Glen Boothe, better known by his stage name ‘Knxwledge´, is a workahol-ish very talented American instrumental hip hop musician raised in New Jersey and Philadelphia. He’s currently based in Los Angeles and has had 64 releases via Bandcamp since 2009. In 2012 he released a 53 track retrospective compilation on cassette, which was released by Leaving Records. In 2010 he released his debut album ‘Klouds‘ via All City. His songs are often a mix of various genres, such as jazz, soul, old-school hip hop, and modern rap. In 2015 he produced the track ‘Momma‘ on Kendrick Lamar‘s junior release, To Pimp A Butterfly.
